Possibility to Download XMLs from IDM in Multitenant cloud env

Hi,

I have a requirement from the customer where they will upload some XML documents to IDM and don't have an api to retreive this XML from IDM.

There is an idm rest api to upload but not for download.

Has anybody worked on this kind of requirement. Or is there any api to download uploaded xmls from IDM (May be i don't know) ?

Or any other possibilities other than IDM capture/ Ephisoft ?

Hello - You can use the below api to get the binary data of the XML file. It should translate pretty easily in ION. You can also use the ION Connection Point for a File and use Enterprise Connector to download SMB or FTP files from on-premise. You could also use sftp direct from the cloud. Hopefully this helps!

Yessir, both of those stream API's should work. There are several others that use search strings or queries, but I prefer to know the PID of the document and use that call. Hopefully it helps!

Hi Brandon,

I am getting this message Output Format "Not Supported" in ION connection point (Output Document tab) when I try to use the api. Is there anything else I am missing?
