Possibility of Field Enclosing Characters in Custom CSV from ION

Hi,

I have a requirement to enclose fields with Enclosing characters e.g {} in below screenshot.

How to use this in a custom CSV output generated via ION.

I have entered {} below but this does not appear in CSV. This setting is in the File template we create in ion.

Where else do I need to do the set up if i want to get {ABC} in output CSV

Hi, To create your output you'll probably have to perform a 'concat' operation in XSLT to enclose the brackets in the output field.
I think the field enclosing characters in Infor are used to create a template of the file rather than enclose brackets in the output.
For example if the template had 

aaaa,bbbbbb,cccc,"ddd,ddd",eeee

then you would select " as your field enclosing character to ensure five fields are defined in your template.

The field seperator is a comma in this instance.
