Process inbound message (XML) in M3

Hi,

I have the below xml file needs to be processed in M3 to do some updates.

I've configured the connection point that will receive this file in ION and the connection point that will connect to M3

what is the other configurations needed for this message to reach to IEC. (how to create the BOD from this file and how to configure IEC to receive this file?)

Is it will work if I just created a custom BOD from the XSD if this xml without any modification in the file or the XSD or there should be any preparation for the file before sending it to IEC.

Hi,

1. Create a file template using this XML file. 

2. Create a dataflow starting file connector and ending with the M3 connector. 

3. Once you drop a file to the file location, you can see the BOD from one view. Then use that BOD structure (with metadata) to create XSD in IEC.

 4. yes, Custom BOD can use to update M3.
