Hello Luis,Once the process of creating the database has been triggered there is no Designer function to abort this. I assume stopping the process via task manager will result in an corrupt data model. Why would you want to stop the process?RegardsMichael
Hi Luis,
I would recommend to have a good backup strategy in place for your OLAP Databases, Repository databases and Designer Databases before attempting to work in Designer.
The changes you make in designer to structure are not populated to OLAP until you click 'create database'
If you make changes to users and group - these are populated to your application repository immediately.
also - DO NOT forget to copy rules you have made in cubes through OLAP administrator before you create database - else they can be lost.
Designer is very good and very powerful - but needs treating with kid-gloves to ensure that admins do not screw up an environment.
