It's been a while since I posted and that reflects the amount of time I have been out of the BI (d/EPM) game!
In ImportMaster, I have an Entity dimension that has an All Entities level 0 element and then several more C elements with N elements below.
Our FP&A team would like a separate entity hierarchy and whilst I am aware I can create a totally separate hierarchy under the dimension, I would like to use the old method and retain in the same hierarchy.
I have set this up in IM but when I browse the dimension, the new Level 0 element does not show up.
I also moved the Group - FC C element to Level 0 but this is not showing when browsing the dimension.
Note that I have tried to run SAVEDIMENSION so I can DESTROY and then CREATE but I get the P-C error as referred to in Infor Customer Communities : Forums : Dimension could not be saved, no non-empty P/C-hierarchies were present in the dimension (inforcommunities.com).
