New DEPM-Tables in BIFarmStage

Hi,

just updated my Infor V12 to the latest version 2021-01 (12.0.12) and now I find about 20 new tables in my Staging database, all prefixed with DEPM_FWK or DEPM_MOD, and all seem to be empty.

Unfortunately I couldn't find anything about these tables in the documentation.

What are these tables for?

Are they are internally used or can I use them as well (when knowing the purpose of these tables)

Hi Ralf,

the prefix DEPM_FWK is for Log tables which are in the Staging area. We created these tables to store selected logs in there and then make them easily accessible for your custom reports. And in the multi-tenant, it is the only way for customers how to directly access their logs.

The DEPM_MOD tables will hold object definition data in the next releases. It will allow you to easily read model structures and write there new ones and publish them to OLAP. We brought these tables now, so you can get familiar with the model in advance. 

Regarding the documentation, we somehow lost the prefixes on the way. But you can find the documentation in the following links:
