Birst 7 Space Management - Localization

Are there instructions out there anywhere for how to do localization in Birst 7?

I was able to download an Excel file with all the objects in English (the default language), am assuming all I need to do is add a column for Spanish and the upload it back into the space, but there is no documentation to that effect.

Can anybody guide me on this one?

For one customer I have seen some performance issues related to subject area translation. If you try it out please let me know if you notice any issues related to going to/between dashboards or entering visualizer. Still trying to determine what the variables might be - a function of size of the subject area and/or size of the translation table.

Can this new process be used instead of the previous one? If both need to be used together, what are the differences?
