How we can develop Context App and how to make connection between context app and M3?

Hi,

I am struggling to make connection between context app and m3.

I tried it from M3/H5-SDK but I don't know how we can make connection between m3 and context app.

Please share any example code for Context App building and connecting.

I need business context data into context app.

The way applications and contextual applications communicate are through postMessages between the application and the contextual application.

The application will send an Infor Business Context Message that the context app has subscribed to. Unfortunately the library is not externally available.

I suggest that you contact M3 product owner, Ole Rasmussen or Mingle product owner, Ryan Bavery, for information. You can also ask support the question and ask for information from the product owner.

All I can say for now, is that it is not currently supported. At least not the contextual part. You can develop a utility application.

Also a link to sample application in included together with instructions on how to configure it. This thing assumes you have LN, M3 or similar, that is capable of sending inforBusinessContext message inside Infor OS environment.

If this is utlility or context app, I'm not sure, but context app means it will react on somekind of event in the main application (select a record in a form or similar - that is the trigger for sending the context message). It doesn't have a lot to do view Homepages Widgets and SDK for them..

We also recommend using Mongoose if you have that license, It has builtin capability to build Home page widgets. I understand that it can also develop in context but will confirm that..

Yes Mongoose can be used to develop in-context apps and the InforBusinessContext JSON message exchange is built into the form event model for easy setup and use.

Is that possible use Mongoose to do widgets and context apps in cloud too? And can I find Developers guide somewhere?
