Representation of identical rows in hyperblock

Hello!

I have a question regarding the representation of identical rows in a hyperblock with further nested hyperblocks.

In my example I have three hyperblocks, which are nested in the following structure:

Project
- Employee
  - Type

When using this structure, I have the problem that in the Application Studio identical rows in my project hyperblock are not displayed (projects which have multiple employees and types). Only the first row of each project is displayed, the other rows are blank. In Office Plus I have the possibility to uncheck "Merge labels" in the options, which solves my problem. Is there a way to solve this issue in the Application Studio too?

Daniel, I would not recommend to use 3 nested hyperblocks, but use Slice instead. It will work way faster and also will do what you need

Hi Daniel,

Nick is, I am sure, correct, but what you are doing should work based on the data structures an will still be an issue, even if you use the slice, unless you have your data structured correctly and you get your suppression right. You should not be seeing the same three lines for a project and you should see what you have in your spreadsheet view in App Studio.

How are you filtering the data in the hyperblocks? You need to make sure that each one is dependent on the other, and that you are suppressing zero correctly. (the slice will do this for you automatically, so this is where it is very much better than hand-crafting).

Try extending the inner hyperblocks to overlap the outer hyperblock by stretching it left.

Hi!

Thank you very much for your input, I was able to solve my problem.

As I am not familiar with slices yet, I tried to fix the setup of my hyperblocks. As Peter suggested, I extended the inner hyperblocks to the left, to overlap the outer one. This was my error.
