I have an simple email working but I am looking for additional information on the Parameters that can be set and how to set them so I can attach a file to the email as well. I found some information which got me started EmailTo, EmailSubject and EmailMessage but that's all i can find

IPS Templates can use all available properties, I suspect Workflows can as well; although I haven't tried using properties the same way they are used in templates.

Is it possible to use a different EmailFrom in a Workflow, not the SMTP address in the configuration?

Please check, there’s an IDO method “EmailFilesFromFileServerAsAttachment” under “FileServerExtension” IDO, where you can use that method to send an email with attachment from FileServer.

Requirements:

In your case you should have IDM - Fileserver Setup to use it.

To check the required method parameters:

Open IDO Form
Filter IDO Name - “FileServerExtension”
Method
Select “EmailFilesFromFileServerAsAttachment”.

How to use:

Create a form
Add Event Handler ex :”Send Email”
On Response Type: Select “Method Call”
Click Parameter Ellipsis “…”
Edit Method Call:
- IDO : FileServerExtension
- Method: EmailFilesFromFileServerAsAttachment
- Parameters: In this example I used components to set the method parameters.

How do i check if this is setup and if its not, how do you do it?

You can check the setup in File Servers - Form.
