C# Custom Load Methods & Output variables - Are they supported?

CSI 9.01.01, on prem.

I've used output variables in several IDO Custom Assemblies & they've worked great. However, if I try to use them in a C# Custom Load Method, they never return a value (at least that I can see). Is there something special that needs to be done when using output variables with a custom load method or should I not waste my time?

You would need to have an extra (unbound) IDO Property in your IDO and then you could fill that with your messaging. How to display the info would be the trick and depends on what you are displaying the CLM data to (regular form, report form, DataView, etc...).

I believe the intent of a custom load method is to return a DataTable.

For output variables you can call a standard method assembly.
