User do not want to use the Xquery option to get the document uploaded on the specific date. we cannot get the document using Created date as the time is not matching with the created date & time in IDM
When you do your document search, select your document type and date attribute. Next, select the operation "> After" and enter your target date. Now, click the + button to add another condition. Change the operation to "< Before" and select the NEXT day. This will give you a search for your target date.
If you incorporate the timestamp into the search, you can find, for example, all documents created on a specific afternoon.
Thanks Ryan, Data attribute which we considered is the created date which is a system generated attribute and non editable. Even we started using the same option you suggested here.
