Create new Alias Connection with a specific user

Hi, hope you all are ok!

I'm on a Cloud project development for Infor d/EPM v12 and looking for a way to make an alias connection to OLAP Database with admin credentials (or a custom user with specific permissions over DAC, MDAC cubes). It will be used for some custom reports that need to do some calculations with elements normally restringed to users.

Any help will be appreciated.

Technically, it's simple - just create another data connection with 'Admin' user

  

But the trick here would be to hide it from Self-Service, so we don't have security concerns.

So once it's done in Data Connection, Usage put as AppStudio (because customer wants to create repots)

but then in Self-Service disable it

Alternatively, you can also remove option to link connection from other applications
