How do I remove/filter out tables that I do not want to see in Compass?

I started playing around with the Data Lake Ingestion for several tables just to get my feet wet. Now, I want to clean up what I can see from the Compass view. I have purged some of the tables/objects using the Purge option. But, I am still seeing tables that I no longer want to see in the Compass view. I understand that some of these tables are from the standard Infor-EAM_Analytics-Schedule-Default .. which I have already flagged as Inactive.

Is there anyway to clean up the Compass view to see only what I want to view as a list of tables? Some examples of the tables that I do not wish to view in my list are shown below

Hey Syd,

Compass is pulling those metadata definitions straight from Data Catalog and is filtering specifically for NDJSON and DSV family formats (CSV, TSV, PSV, etc.). While you may not have data in storage for those tables (objects), they qualify to be queried within Compass even if Compass returns back zero results. This is somewhat similar behavior to what you'd see in a regular database where you might see a list fo tables and views but when querying them, they could have 0 rows.

The only way to "clean up" Compass and the list of objects available to query is by deleting the metadata model within Data Catalog. You will no longer see any deleted models in Compass.
