Globally Block End User Access during Maintenance Activities for Individual Infor Products

Hello,

I've opened an Enhancement Request to prevent users from accessing Infor products during maintenance activities. Please endorse, link below.

Hi Roy, agreed it would be easy to have a tick box, although I noticed your work around is a bit cumbersome,

you could use the permissions on the IFS app icon to restrict access to say M3 or LN quite quickly , simply remove the general access role you've created leaving your admin access role on the app itself for the maintenance workers.

or use an SSO group in AzureAD to prevent anyone accessing cloudsuite at all during maintenance

Just some thoughts that might help in the interim

All, my understanding is that, when a product is under planned monthly maintenance, you are already greeted with the message like below. For background processes like an API call to the product under maintenance, you will get a HTTP 503 error with the same message. So I think, the access moderation for products under the regular maintenance cadence are already taken care. Is this ER for other maintenance scenarios that we need to cater for?
