Filter field to add a numeric value

I would like to add a filter to a report for percentage of revenue. Basically, I would like to filter to products that represent more than a certain percentage of the company's total revenue. I would like this to be a free form field where the report user enters the percentage (5%). 

In the past I have used custom hierarchies for this type of filter, but I would like to allow the report user some flexibility with this field. Is there a way to accomplish this? I am still learning application studio, so if you could provide a brief example that would be great.

Hi Ka$ey,

set a cell to "no protection" in the cell properties (cell > right click > cell properties).

Then add an action (cell > right click > define action) that writes back the value in a variable with mode "Edited cell". I would calculate the absolute reference value (=$B$2*$B$5) and write this one back into the variable as reference:

This can then be used in a value filter for a listview etc. as reference:
