Application Studio - Slices with XML values for variable in the Filters Section not working

Hi All,

During a couple of scenarios where I have used slices in Application Studio, the report creating progress freezes at a particular point for several hours, when I include a variable that contains an XML value in the Filters section of the slice. 

Any idea why this happens and what can be done to resolve this issue?

hi Amritha, have you tried using the multiselectgetmembersimple command?

this is the custom xml code you put in.

Replace the reportvariable with your report variable name and change the BU_Structure dimension name to your dim name
