do you know if it's possible, using some special syntax, to add a custom dashboard to a Sub Plane? We try through the Business Modeling UI or directly from the navigation OLAP dimension but we get always an error message.

I assume this is related to v12 and that you are modeling with Business Modeling?
You cannot add a custom dashboard to the d/EPM Planning Application at present.
You can add a custom (Application Studio) report and add it to the Navigation (Menu). To do this you need a custom application to store the report and then add the report in Business Modelling.
Thanks John, we are interested to add a dashboard. It's a cockpit with many widgets and an AS report is a bit limited here. We discard the integrated self-services since we need to link them in the report manager and not in the workbook task list.
