How to schedule a Execute Script on d/EPM administrator / Staging / Scripts

Hi

I am new on this product. I have a Script set on the Staging tool. I want to schedule to run automatically every night. Do you know what is the best way to do it? 

I appreciate your advice on this and experience on the best practice to do it. Thank you.

Hi Mauricio,

it depends... Is it On-Premise (OP) or Multi-Tenant (MT)?

For OP you can use call this script using a modeling function from Application Engine and then call this process from the Process Executor and then schedule it in the Windows Scheduler. 

For MT, you would use for scheduling a Connection Point and a Document Flow in the ION Desk. You should consider two scenarios:

1) if the process will always take under 1 minute (longer would time out) --> in the connection point you call d/EPM Modeling API. 

2) if the process can take over 1 minute --> call this script using a modeling function from Application Engine and then you call asynchronous Application Engine API of this process.
