I am currently in a predicament. One of our country procured SAP for their ERP and they are looking at using SAP-PM instead of Infor EAM. They have also purchased the S4/HANA for BI. We are currently MT with IOS; but no BIRST yet. I was actually hoping to add BIRST at a later date.
So, we are asked to provide data from Infor EAM to their S4/HANA. I do not want them to have a seamless direct access to our Infor EAM. What would be the next best option to provide file/data exchanges to their S4/HANA? Although, I do not want them to have direct access to EAM, I would push for them to grant us access to their SAP or S4/HANA so that I may pull data from their system to build our datalake within Infor. That way, when I do have BIRST, we can compete against their S4/HANA and sway them to make Infor datalake as the corporate BI tool.
Any suggestion or recommendation would be appreciated.
