Event System - Display Popup?

Hi,

We have quite a few events setup in our CIS AES system. A lot of them send emails, which is fine. But a few of these can be solved by just using a popup. Can application event system display a pop up message to the user for a certain event? IDOPostItemInsert example? If so, how? I have tried using he message function and Call IDO method using MsgAppSP but can not quite figure it out.

Any help is appreciated.

There is currently no facility to message from AES to users. We are looking at roadmap items for messaging that may be implemented in future that might satisfy this.

Great. I added an enhancement for this way back in the day as well. Would be awesome to have business rules run through AES instead of using formscript.
