Uploading data from an on-premise spreadsheet to a V12 MT d/epm cloud

What is the easiest way to import an existing spreadsheet to be imported as data into existing OLAP cubes.?

Do we have to go via the data lake and staging or can we import directly from the spreadsheet into OLAP?

How is the spreadsheet loaded to the MT cloud for a custom BI application?

It depends. If your excel file replaces the cube content then save it as a text file and upload it in d/EPM Admin.

Second options use the new Excel integration to send the data.

Third option assuming you are adding to, or replacing, part of the cube then again I would save the excel file as a text file, upload it to the repository as a file attachment on d/EPM Admin then process it with App Engine.
