I just want to get this thread moving ahead so that we can at least get to a like for like rules creation with the previous version. This will allow upgrading clients to feel more comfortable with the move toV12.
I have had a couple of sessions with the rules editor and find the following would be a great help.
Selecting an individual element from the right hand pane selector should at least put the selected element into [] both in target and source boxes.
Selecting a dimension when in the source area should at least put ! before the dimension name.
I can see that there is a validity check on the target but no validity checking on the source. As we are have to manually create rules, when interacting with the editor it would be good to get some validity checking added.
