Could anyone explain how to connect to Designer for the first time? The documentation and training videos aren't clear enough for me.
I have registered a Designer database using a SQL Server login. I have set this account as sysadmin and is dbo of the Designer database. The connection test is successful.
I am then prompted with "There is no repository for registration 'MyDatabase'. Specify a repository to log on to Designer." I click Yes to proceed.
This takes me to the Repository Settings Wizard page, asking me to "Enter the log-on information for the Designer database.". Whatever credentials I try at this stage I cannot make progress. I receive an "Error logging on to Designer. Error: Invalid user name or password." error each time.
I have also tried this approach using a Windows account with all permissions granted in the repository and sysadmin/dbo on SQL.
Please can anyone advise?
