Handling Confirm BOD

Hi,

I have requirement to show IONAPI failures in the homepage as alerts. When the API returned error response a confirm BOD is generated. Is there a way to capture the confirm BOD and show the error information as alerts.

Please share your suggestions and alternative solutions.

Create a monitor based on Sync.Error. You can then the attribute Error/Reason and send the alert to a group or a user.

Hi Sudhakaran,

you can get the confirm-bod using IONSERVICES/oneviewapi/data/documentPayload if you have the message-id. You can get the confirm-bods message-id using IONSERVICES/oneviewapi/data (you just have to apply a proper filter), message-id is stored in one of the event_custom_properties (use the index of the event_custom_keys "connect.confirmMsgId" as index for the property).

This will trigger the alert for all the Error BODs, I want to send alert for a particular BOD failure let a Shipment BODs IONAPI failure. Is it possible to get the BOD Name in Error BOD so we can apply it in condition and trigger the alert for that BOD failure alone.

Initially I thought BOD Type will only have BOD verb. I Can use BODType to filter thank you
