Other Report Tools for accessing the d/epm BI data.

Is anyone using the Infor d/EPM FSM BI Data Cubes with other third-party report development tools?

Our accountants are using BI Self Service, but they indicate that it's cumbersome to move the data from a BI report to an Excel spread that they can use to analyze the data.

What reporting tools are other organizations using for accessing data in the BI cubes that make it easy for our accountants to do ad-hoc queries or easily import the data into Excel.

We are an Infor Multi-Tenant client.

We also bringing extended ad-hoc into excel in couple of months, so it will have ability to configure rows/columns for ad-hoc reporting.

Hi Marie,

The Excel Add In Nick mentioned is the tool the accountants often gravitate toward for this purpose. With a little bit of training, the accountants can create their standard views and refresh the data without going back and forth between self service. If you need a little help to get started with the Excel Add In, we would be glad to set up 30 minutes or so to show you how it works and how to install it. There are also other possibilities for reporting tools from within the platform you can consider without needing to consider any 3rd party tools. Let me know if we can help!
