Order Invoicing Report adding Secondary Collection Help

I am trying to add a Secondary Collection to the Order Invoicing/Credit Memo Laser Report Viewer. I have added a filter, set distinct, and done a collection refresh but it is still not returning any data. Does anyone see anything I have wrong or can offer a solution?

Hi J, I've tried a quick test and I guess encountered an infinite loop in StdObjectSelectCurrentCompleted. maybe you can refresh collection 2 only when collection = primary. when I removed the parent collection settings I was able to get some data on my secondary collection.

so what I have discovered is that the Shipment ID is not actually generating. While it shows as a property on the IDO, nothing seems to actually make this property have a value. Without the Shipment ID, I cannot tie the shipment to a tracking number on the invoice. Has anyone gotten the Shipment ID to show on an invoice? SUPER FRUSTRATING!!

Most functionality involving Shipment ID works only if you're shipping via Pick, Pack & Ship and not if you're doing Order Shipping. Which are you using? That might be the issue.

The Shipment ID shows on Consolidated Invoicing, have you tried to look at how that is linked to see if you can reuse that login Order Invoicing?

We do Pick Pack & Ship.

You can run Order Invoicing via shipment ID however it does not save a shipment ID with the invoice unless you are using Consolidated Invoicing Check the A/R Posted Transactions Form and notice its blank.

What we do here is so some joins on pick_list_ref and join the customer order # to the pick list ref which we then point to the shipment table. You could probably do that on the IDO for your report. Good luck!
