FTP Setup for Bartender Labeling, IP Addresses

I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this but looking for some ideas.   We are using Infor Syteline V10 in the cloud.    A challenge for printing BarTender bar code labels is they have to be transferred from the cloud to our local bartender server.    We have this setup and working but seems like a huge security risk to have this open to anyone.    Since cloud is hosted on Amazon web services it hard to know what IP addresses are being used to limit them.    How do others handle this?    

Is there a way to know what IP address range is being used?   If not, does anyone use hosted FTP or have any other ideas how to make this a little more secure?

We are using BarTender 2019 Automation to provide web service API end-points for CSD. The application makes regular API calls to the BarTender services running on our server. No need for FTP but you will have to redo the database configuration on each design to use named data sources instead of the file data structure. It's a bit more setup and JSON does not allow for multiple documents per API call. You have to use the CSV format in order to send multiple data records per API call. We didn't know that until we'd rewrote all of it around JSON payloads. Once we are in CSD I plan on rewriting the label application to support bulk records per API call using the CSV payload formatting.
