Show image of an item on the report

Hello,

My goal is to further understand how to show an image of an item on a report .

I have images of all the items in our local database, so the first step would be to upload all the images which is named after the item now how can I create a variable and ... to dynamically change the value of the picture's name based on the item name and assign it to image in design mode.

I actually had to do something like this where I work. I'll attach the form I created & explain:

I opted to store the Item images directly in the Item, as Infor already provides a spot for it. My form looks at a given folder and then tries to find a file name that matches an item number. If it does, the image is attached & saved.

To get an image to appear on a report (or anywhere else), create a Static component and then attach the image to it.
