Visual Basic on Current Forms vs C# on New Forms

I've noticed many other posts and youtube training videos around development recommended to use C# for the form script. All the current forms seem to be set to Visual Basic. I am not aware of a way to covert these to C#. Are new forms and scripts by Infor now using C# is that why it is recommended or why wouldn't you want it to all be uniform with Visual Basic as infor has set it up to begin with?

Visual Basic isn't going anywhere for a long time, but it is being phased out by Microsoft. I stick to VB when the form is using VB and use C# for anything new (including extension classes).

got it that makes sense, just more confusing when trying to copy code from a system form to a new form that you want to use similar logic So I wanted to confirm before I dive too deep.

Agree. It's the developer's choice still. Our own preference is to migrate VB to C# if the time allows as we generally do much more work in C# anyway, so it's a bit easier to support long term with our team.
