Adding multiple heat lot numbers to PO line in "Purchase Order Receiving" form

Goal: Trying to figure out what would be the best practice to capture multiple heat lot numbers with different vendors for each PO lines.

For example we have PO#P00001 with 3 lines, each line could have multiple heat lot numbers with different vendors.

The item needs to be activated for lot-track (Items>Control>Lot track) and you'd better define your Item Manufacturers in advance (create Manufacturers, then Manufacturer Items for their SKUs, then Item Manufacturers to link them to your items).

This is not really development, your implantation partner should be able to explain you all this, as well as Infor Support.

Why would you try to combine different vendors on the same PO? A PO is a document sent to a specific vendor... I cannot see why or how you would have multiple vendors on the same PO.
As for multiple lots, they could be split on separate lines if you know in advance how many for each line (lot size). Otherwise I guess you could just receive the same line by changing the lot number and quantity on the line before hitting the receive button; so for the same line of qty 100 ordered, you could receive 10 with Lot#1, then 50 for Lot#2, then 20 with Lot#3, etc. This means your receiving clerks have to physically pay attention to lot size and splitting when they process PO receiving in Syteline.

Let me give you an example of ordering raw aluminum blocks from the distribution place, they typically send you like XX number of blocks of raw materials and each of those materials could have been produced by different mills with different heat lot numbers, as a result when trying to receive that specific line we could have multiple vendors and lot numbers.

Then your Vendor is "the distribution place" and your item comes from various manufacturers. You can use Item Manufacturers to specify the SKU of each manufacturer, but your vendor (supplier) is still the same single one for the PO.
And with that you could try my above suggestion of receiving the same line in different quantities, to receive each lot separately but still on the same PO line.

I followed your suggestions:

on the receiving form>right click on manufacturer>add the manufacturer>click on manufacturer item>add manufacturer item> click on item manufacturer to add the information, am i doing it right or there is a better way of doing it ?

Also one other question while i was doing the testing, noticed some items has the lot and manufacturers disabled, do you know why ?
