I came across an interesting operation when building the workflow in ION Desk;

IONSERVICES/connect/model/v1/dataflows/{name}

Can this be used to refresh the data in the data lake and if so what is the equivalent function in Application Engine?

Hi Ibrahim,

correct. You can use these APIs for the definition and update of data flows. But please keep in mind that Data Flows do not work on the "on-demand" principle. 

If you want to achieve something similar to it, you can have a data flow with frequent scheduling and activate/deactivate it by these APIs. With such an approach is crucial to have correctly defined incremental key and have proper timing. 

For calling these APIs from the Application Engine, please use the wizard in the Process Editor.
