Are there any planned enhancements around enabling custom colors to cell formats? I know that this is possible with certain objects such as buttons. This would be very helpful for aligning our reports with branding color schemes.
Kasey,
If I understand correctly what youre looking to do....
Have you tried using Style Sheets? Its not very eloquent but you can create a template, then create a custom palate. the downside is when you apply that template to a report and open the color palate youll still see the default colors. Your custom colors are there but you have to remember what position in the grid they are. Pretty lame but what I do is take a screenshot of the pallet in the template and use it as a reference.
Style sheets for sure and for added efficiency I import the colour palette in the report, only takes a few seconds.
I haven't tried using Style Sheets. I typically use the Standard Financial Reporting Style Sheet. I'll play around with this option - thank you
I'm not familiar with this process of importing the color palette. You do this in the report or in the style sheet template? Thank you
you can duplicate the Standard Financial Reporting Style Sheet since you wont be able to edit the Infor delivered style sheets.
Either or both. Using in style sheet only will apply to every report the style sheet is assigned to however you wont be able to see the colour palette even though the palette is active. I therefore import the designed palette to the report as well.
