Hello, has anyone setup an OCR scanning solution to IDM? My company is debating between Brainware w/OnBase versus Infor's marketed solution Ephesoft w/Infor Capture. My Finance, HR, and clinical divisions have been using OnBase for years and, even if we switch to Infor Capture, we will continue to use OnBase for our clinical scanning into Epic.
So far my research makes me think I can create an ION connection for Brainware to pass a BOD file and scanned image for IDM, but it's still early enough that I'm not sure this is even the correct way to connect an OCR into IDM. Far as I know it's better to plug directly into IDM with an API.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
