Cell Notes Disappearing

Hi everyone,

I just started working with Infor and Application Studio. I was going through the "dEPM 257 Working with Cell Notes" video and testing its implementation on a report. I was was successful in getting the feature up and working but I'm running into an issue. The cell notes that I write are disappearing overnight. Is there a certain option that has to be enabled somewhere for this feature to work correctly? Thanks in advance for the help.

I assume the OLAP server is being shutdown overnight. Ensure a database save is scheduled to ensure cube data is written to disk. With cell values you can turn on transaction logging so if the OLAP abruptly stopped then the data is recovered on restart however I don't know if this is the case for cell notes.

Even if the machine is being shutdown gracefully, the OLAP server should do a save before shutdown. Not really sure what is happening in your case.
