Excel Integration triggering a BOD back to LN

Good Day,

I'm using Excel Integration v2022.05 On-Premise and I was wondering if you have a cost allocation module in Excel Integration (users needs to see all calculations in Excel) which populates some allocation journals to be posted in LN, is there is a way that one can trigger a BOD back to LN with these journals to be captured in LN directly from within Excel Integration (macros??)?

No, that isn't possible in the way you describe...

The Excel Integration enables the extraction of data from dEPM cubes as well as the possibility of loading data into the cubes. It is possible to create some native Excel functionality that, after extracting from the cubes, changes the data in some way (e.g. performing allocations) before pushing it back into the cubes. This involves defining/storing/maintaining key business logic for the allocations in uncontrolled spreadsheets, which generally isn't considered best practice though.

It's more usual to build Custom functionality using App Engine processes or to create Custom sub-plans for users to allocate data. These can be presented to users via App Studio reports that illustrate the logic employed.

Additionally, the Development Team have some exciting new features lined up to be delivered over the coming months/year on this question too. @Nick Gladkov?
