Workflow triggered from an event on the M3 database

Hi,

As I understand it, workflows are usually triggered by standard BODs.

But it can happen that the rules of the standard BOD are not adapted to your context.

So it can be useful to turn to CMS045 and CMS047 transactions to trigger an ION workflow following an operation on the M3 database.

However, I can't understand how to manage the mapping that must certainly be done at a given time between the elements generated in a ProcessWorkFlow BOD and the workflow input parameters?

Could you guide me on this point or refer me to a documentation that would explain it?

Hello, 

The fields that will be published in the "ProcessWorkflow" is basically the keys of the record that the event is triggered.  These can be mapped in the workflow as "input" parameters like this. A tips is to  to use the "alert message - CBMSGT1" field  if you want to pass through some fields that not is a key field in the table.
