M3 MEC - Error Handing - Cloud

Hi,

I have a requirement to send a mail to a specific email id when a MEC mapping fails in the M3 cloud, on-perm has multiple solutions but with the cloud, I can find only the Error handling tab that I have never used before.

If anyone handed this scenario in the cloud please help here.

Hi Maxime,

I figure this one out.

I added a send process in the Error handling tab that triggered the BOD with an Error message like below.

yes, we have implemented this solution. Created a custom BOD to receive this Error BOD to handle the errors. This Error BOD will be configured in the Error section of the EC agreement. Please DM me for more details.

Hello,

I am afraid it is not available at the time being. Sync_Out BODs failing in IEC do not generate ConfirmBOD. Maybe an enhancement request could be made.

As a work around, you could monitor your API calls, store errors somewhere in one Xtend table (or other) then built a CMS047 to trigger a workflow or another Sync.BOD that will send an alert in the end. Not ideal.

I see. So your outgoing interface is going thru IMS channel. This is the reason why you were able to add the "send" step in the error tab of your agreement.

In case of error, the message sent by IEC also uses IMSOut.

So ION receives a basic document looking like your screenshot (an ANY message). What did you do next ?

Yes, I used IMSOut with ANY document.

I wrote a script to validate if there is an error in the document or a valid XML BOD. If its an error Send mail using IDM IONAPI else do the other process.
