The following describes new release highlights for users of Infor OS Data Fabric:
- Data Lake:
- Data Archiving with Data Lake: Data Lake has introduced novel archiving metadata, flagging, and controls to better index, query, and govern access and management of important, archived transactional data from legacy systems

- Storing Archived Data: When replicating content for arching purposes, clients can now micro-batch archived row sets into data objects to be written to Data Lake storage. This provides clear organization of archived data for data management purposes and workflows, and increased controls and governance to eliminate potential removal or purging.

- Compass SQL & Archived Data: Compass SQL introduces several new table functions with explicit capabilities for querying and retrieving archived records as part of a query workflow. When table identifiers are archived, Compass SQL will only present current transactional data to the query developer. Table functions can be used to retrieve, JOIN, and UNION datasets blending both active transactional data as well as historical archive data.

- Archiving Metadata Validations: User friendly error messages have been introduced into Compass SQL to communicate when validation issues occur. This provides clear, descriptive error messages and resolution direction.

- Compass SQL JDBC v2022.10: A new version, v2022.10, of the Compass SQL JDBC driver has been released and is available for download. The updated driver provides improved logging and additional debug information for enhanced customer support and troubleshooting. It expands resiliency dimensions including retry behaviors.

- Data Catalog:
- Archive Indicator Metadata: A metadata indicator for identifying archiving flags has been introduced to Data Catalog. The new indicator icons, path definitions, and metadata properties

- Metagraph
- Duplicate Name Handling on Import: Metagraph will identify when users attempt to import content with existing naming schemes and present options for how to handle those specific Metagraphs. Users can better manage duplicate collisions by skipping, replacing, or renaming identified Metagraphs. This will reduce obstacles and friction forcing users to otherwise re-export content or edit files manually.

- Metagraph API’s: APIs are now available within the API Gateway to create, manage, and remove Metagraphs from Data Fabric.
