List - Pin a link to Toolbar

I have a defined BinaryDocument userfield (actor.context.HROrganization.DevelopmentActivitiesExamples) and would like to place on a list and Pin to Toolbar as an action.....is that possible?

I figure that I need to create some type of a "User Action" which will then allow me to Pin it to the Toolbar where the green is......is that possible?

What action do you want to perform on the User Field? Do you want a button on the toolbar to open / download the document?

to just open the document - presently it shows up as link when placed on a form. But I want to pin on the Toolbar

It looks like you're using Rich Client. It might be easier in Web Config Console. You should be able to add a navigation on the HROrganization business class to view the document and then add that navigation to the list.

Something like...

ViewExample is a Navigation
view DevelopmentActivitiesExamples

and in the list...

Actions
navigation is ViewExample

Andy - don't see what option to select to create the Navigation and not sure how.
