H5 script execution when closing M3 program

Hi Community,

Is it possible to launch a script automatically when closing the M3 program?.

Case: I have to make a script in OIS101 to update the information of the sales order line.
M3 locks the order and blocks the access to the modification by API when the order is opened in OIS101.
Can I run the script when closing OIS101 (to eliminate the problem of locking the sales order)? If there are any ideas how.

I believe it's not possible the reason is when you close the program OIS101 you will exit from the program script control will also be destroyed.

For order hold scenario you can go for Event analytics trigger with MEC mapper to achieve your goal.

When the order is in hold the field hold code(HOCD) table in OOHEAD is set to 1 which means the hold is locked no one can make changes.

when you close the program ois101 the OOHEAD.HOCD will be set to 0. So, you can write a smart rule in event analytics to look out for OOHEAD update event with filter criteria OLD(HOCD) = 1 and HOCD = 0.

With this you can trigger a MEC mapper and do your process inside MEC mapper.

There is no straight forward way to do this. you can store the data in a custom field in OIS101 and then use the event Sudhakaran suggest in order to transfer the data from the custom field to the standard field either through IEC or through event based api call.

Another option is to store the data in a session variable in OIS101 and then have a script in OIS300 (or the program the user uses to open OIS101) to fetch the session variable and update the order line there.

With Events is always possible to do this - Remember that You can have many OIS300 open or in Pane mode....
