Unable to run BI finance reports with MDAC enabled

I created a MDAC for 2 finance dimensions and have the default access set to none because there are only a few posting elements I want passing through. However, now I can't choose a calendar period or actuals scenario on the finance reports and they return blank values. Does anyone have any ideas for troubleshooting this? Do I need to include the calendar periods and actuals scenario as part of the MDAC?

What do you mean by "default access set to none"? did you set BI-Viewers role access to None? screenshot might help.

Hi Matthew. Under Database Settings I set the Default Permission in Multidimensional Access Cubes field to None. I believe it is set to Write as standard.

ah I see. Ive never changed that. Ive always managed permissions under Manage Permissions. If I had to guess, and Id need to see how you have your users mapped and to what Roles and Groups, but it might be that you will need to add explicit permissions to your MDAC dimensions. Per Infor Docs:

If you change the configuration, then the permission default is interpreted differently. For example, if the default permission is changed from None to Read, users can see elements without explicit permissions set that were previously hidden to them. After the default permission is changed, you must verify that the permissions are set correctly with the new configuration.
