Date Function in Application Studio

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Infor EPM / Application Studio, and right now, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to achieve one of our requirements.

Basically, we need to get the day number of the current fiscal year. For example, if the fiscal year 2023 starts on July 1, 2022, I need to count the days starting from July 1. Theoretically, to do that, I can simply get the date difference between July 1 and today's date (using the DATEDIF function in Excel). However, upon browsing the documentation, I couldn't find any functions that can perform this operation. Is there any function that can help me achieve what I'm trying to do?

Please try this:
Cell A1 - type in 01/07/2022 (I am in the UK so this is 1-July)
Format it (right click) as dd-mmm-yyyy to display it as 01-Jul-2022 which is unambiguously a date
Cell A2 Type =now() and format it as A1
Cell A3 type =INT(A2-A1)
Result for me is 313
