We are currently migrating from v11 to v12 and some of our reports are using scripting.

One use of the scripting is setting the list view to be the first item in the list when the user first enters the report, this is because we hide / show some items in the list view depending on the users selection.

We currently do this by using the following script:

Does anyone know if there is a way to set the list view to the first item, without scripting in v12?

You should be able to just assign the selection in an action to the listview. To get the first element from the list you can access the listview.listresult xml and get the first unique name using app studio functions.
