ApplicationEngineExecutionClientContractApiProxy Error

Just received this error. As usual not hits on KBs. 

Error: The 'ApplicationEngineExecutionClientContractApiProxy' proxy for 'Application Engine' service is closing and further communication is prohibited.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this or is it an incident?

Belated and inofficial answer: this seems to happen when AppEngine has been open for a long while (e.g overnight) or when the service on the other end is having an issue. Usually resolved by closing and re-opening Application Engine. If that doesn't work or it happens often it might be worth an incident.
