Refresh token

Hi,

I've configured a third party application to use rest calls with infor CSD. I have it setup as a web application and everything works fine for the first 2 hours.

After 2 hours, my application gives me an error stating "refresh token is not available.

I thought with the below configuration, that it would solve that problem, but it doesn't.

Is there something else that I am missing.

Ideally, I would have liked to configure it as resource owner instead of web application, but my third party application doesn't support it.

The token expire be managed and the refresh token used to get a new 2 hour token.     The 30 days is for the life of a unused refresh token. 

The client will need to cache and manage tokens.   All environments are licensed to a limit of 100 tokens per day per client.   

We have shared code examples that you can download from ION and the documentation sites for Java and .net.  I have posted examples of this in Python.  This example goes further than good token management practices, but also handling errors, backoff, jitter scenarios where they are needed.   

Clients need to handle errors and not hammer the API on retries (backoff and suspension).  Consider that maintenance has a specific response code you can use as well.
