Integration Data Import - BudgetingMain Table - Ignore column Level

Hi,

I used the AE function ModelingExecuteIntegrationDataImport, to import data form BudgetingMain Table in cube BPCMAIN the model Budgeting and Planning. Also I created a new sub Plan, that create automatically new elements in dimension Level.

A configurate de information in integration table in column "Level" for one of this new elements of Sub Plan, example "CSP_Sub Plan - OPEX", but when I import the information to cube, this column of table BudgetingMain is ignore and import the information in IMPORT element of dimension level.

Any one kown who put the the information of column Level readable to AE function ModelingExecuteIntegrationDataImport?

We experienced the same issue last month and logged it with Infor. The reply back was that its by design. As a work around, we created a table identical to BudgetingMain in the Staging DB. Then used the AE script to load it from there into the BPCMAIN cube. (Export BudgetingMain and then Import into Staging. Its quick an easy)

Thanks for replay. Some questions, how you do to grantee that import data in BPCMAIN cube with similar requirements of ModelingExecuteIntegrationDataImport? You validate before if element exist in dimension, if it is a leaf member, if account is Interco? Is it possible for you to share the script (or part of the script) that you used to perform these validations?

Another question, before import do you delete an targert dataArea, similar to ModelingExecuteIntegrationDataImport that delete the target area for cycle, entity, period and levels identified in Integration table. If yes how you did it, create a data area to delete (with formula AE OLAPCreateDataArea) and after execute OLAPDeleteDataArea?

Good day Rui

In my situation, the verification was done on the source database where data was extracted from. It is an Infor CPM to EPM project and for now we are doing a data take on. (i would also like to know how you do your verifications/ validations if you get it to work). For the deletion step, I used the scripts that Martin Reischl shared on the Infor Community earlier this year.
