LPL - Linking a userfield from one business class to another business class

How do I link the two classes below where content from ResourceTransitionTask / UEthnicity is passed over to the Employee class via the HIRE action?

Business class / Userfield = Employee / UEthnicity

Business class / Userfield = ResourceTransitionTask / UEthnicity

I looked into parameters setup but not sure how to proceed.

You would need to create a relation from ResourceTransitionTask to Employee (similar to EmployeeResourceTransitionTaskI9IDRel) but where the related task ties to your UEthnicity task/field). Then you could us that in the Employee.HireResource action as an Initial Value.

Could you do something similar:

ResourceTransitionTaskUERel

one-to-many relation to ResourceTransitionTask

Field Mapping uses symbolic key

related.HROrganization = HROrganization

Instance Selection

where (related.TransitionTask = "UEthnicity"

and (related.Employee = Employee

or (related.Candidate entered

and related.Candidate = CandidateNumber)))

then on the hire form:

UEthnicity

initial value is ResourceTransitionTaskUERel.UEthnicity

Looked into your example and the value does not come over from ResourceTransitionTask to JobApplication business class. One small change in my original example is JobApplication instead of Employee business class

Send - ResourceTransitionClass / UEthnicity

Receive - JobApplication / UEthnicity

UERel

Instance Selection
