Infor Events related to EPM

Hi All,

This is more of a general question. I am interested in learning more about Application Engine, but the resources seem somewhat limited. Are there any Info events that offer opportunities to network with others using EPM productions (BI FSM, Self-Service, Application Studio, Application Engine, etc...)? I feel like our organization is just scratching the surface with the functionality available and I would like to learn more about them.

I totally agree with Kasey!

As we are in the process of replacing the Importmaster, AE becomes more and more important

Right now I'm trying to find out, how to send an email with attachments from AE.

In the documentation i do find the following function:




bool MailerSendMail(MailServer server, string sender, string receiverlist, string subject, string body, string htmlBody, VariantDictionary attachments)

Unfortunately I can't find any hint, how the variant dictionary to pass the attachments should look like...is it just a list of file names?

Small code samples or snippets for each function would be very very helpful and prevents from asking if somebody already has implemented this wheel...

I agree. I wouldn't of guessed this by looking at the documentation. I would like to see more worked examples in the documentation. Other than that, the community articles are very good and if all else fails using this forum works well.

Also, some GPS colleagues are currently doing some work on a package of AE Processes and Reports to manage the use of Report Books. They will announce on Communities once it's available.
