I'm curious if DOM has the capabilities to write variable information to the PDF metadata custom properties? For instance, open any PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader, click the Menu and choose "Document Properties", then select the Custom tab where Name and Value properties can be stored. In Fox-It Reader, click File>Properties>Description and then click the "Custom" link.
Ideally, we could store the common metadata for the document within the PDF, i.e. a Sales Order Acknowledgement may have SO Number, SO Date, Sold-To BP #/Name, and Sales Office #.
If this is possible, it could open the door for a lot of different options.
